Saturday afternoon initiatives: 2nd blitz stage
On Saturday 5 November the first Fast and Furious tournament took place at Club 64, as part of the Saturday afternoon initiatives. 10 players competed in a round-robin with a time control of 3 minutes each plus 2 seconds per move. Candidate Master Marco Benincasa dominated the tournament, finishing with a perfect score of 9 points out of 9, followed by 1Ns Adriano Verrelli and Walter Maran, both with 6 points. We look forward to seeing many of you at the next Fast and Furious on Saturday 14 January at the Club 64 premises.
